The "AIR MAX 98" was released in Japan in 1998 with a retail price of 18000+TAX. The "AIR MAX 98", which follows the lineage of the full-length AIR unit and design also featured in the "AIR MAX 97", was released in 4 colors for men's models: white x blue x red (104111-462), white x black x orange (104111-181), white x navy x yellow (104111-071), and white x black x blue (104111-042).
This model appears to be all-white at first glance, but the upper is covered with white synthetic fibers, and following the instructions of the text graphic "TEAR HERE" on the toe box, you can peel off the protective film of the shoes to reveal a variety of hidden colors by tearing away the parts.
